Here is the first part of a new series: Artifact vs Dota 2. When I say Artifact vs Dota 2, it is not a comparison of gameplay or mechanics, but rather an analysis of the adaptation from Dota 2 to Artifact. Was the soul of the Dota 2 heroes kept in their Artifact cards?
Today, we take a look at the Artifact blue heroes! Going from Crystal Maiden, to Luna, passing by Zeus. Overall, I have been really impressed by the Artifact team. They managed to adapt their blue heroes very well to their new card game without sacrificing too much of the vibe form the Dota 2 game.
The only exception to this would be Luna, which feels weird due to a new mechanic, but like I mentioned in the video, sometimes the Artifact team must've had to sacrifice flavor to balance the game.
This is not an analysis on balance or anything like that, but rather the concept of Artifact and Dota 2.
