1:00 - So the big news this week, and I expect for the month and the year, is that KeSPA’s Proleague has shuttered. As such a huge Broodwar fan, what was it like to hear about this?
2:09 - It was something that was rumored for months and it seems that some people within the industry had knowledge of the closure. How long were you aware of this news?
3:00 - Did the players all know that this was coming?
4:21 - The official line from KeSPA referenced the 2008 financial collapse and marks match fixing, a lack of players and teams, and trouble securing sponsorship as primary reasons for this closure. How much did each of these factors impact proleague and the Starcraft scene in Korea?
7:00 – WCS and how it relates to the closure of Proleague
13:00 - What came first in this situation? Did the teams pull sponsorship which forced KeSPA’s hand, or was KeSPA unable to sustain itself, leading to the death of these prolific StarCraft divisions?
13:40 - Every now and again there’s a discussion about how Broodwar is more popular than SC2 in Korea, how LoL is dying, how ASL has more filled seats than GSL, etcetc. What is the current state of Korean Starcraft and Korean esports on whole?
17:00 - Korean grass roots SC2, or a lack of it.
18:00 - Can you give any indication as to whether or not GSL and SSL are in a sustainable spot right now? Can we expect those tournaments to keep running in 2017?
18:25 - What happens to the players who’ve suddenly found themselves teamless now? Is there any interest from new parties in opening new teams in Korea and supporting those players?
20:00 – Yesterday I did an impromptu live call-in show and I was speaking to a few team managers. Team eLevate’s manager talked about how they want to send Masa to Korea for practice, but now they’re concerned that the skill level of Korean ladder will slip. Are those valid concerns?
23:58 - Team Revolution's manager talked about how important social media is for players. Are the Korean Pros aware of this?
26:20 - What are your personal opinions on the WCS 2016 system? Do you think that this was the right path for SC2?
28:52 - What’s your personal dream system for professional StarCraft 2?
31:09 - In an interview with Bobby Scar in July of this year, you talked about how Riot formed a school of sorts for casters and you joked about how insulting it was that they didn’t throw money at Tasteless to teach. Taking a more serious look at this idea though, do you ever feel disappointed or do you feel as though you’ve been pushed aside by the other games and casters that have risen in SC2’s wake?
33:04 - You’ve gone on record many many times, talking about your deep love for StarCraft. In a 2013 interview with Thorin, you talked about how if you hadn’t landed a casting job, you’d still be doing StarCraft content while you worked at Wal-Mart or did something normal in a day job. Is that still how you feel?
35:10 - Recently, a new content creator by the name of ‘BrownBear’ has been posting videos talking about the theory of RTS. You’ve been helping to share his videos, and you’ve said that you know him through AoE 3. Can you talk about your experience in Age of Empires?
37:33 - With people like BrownBear and LastShadow, you’ve scouted a few personalities over the years and used your platform to help elevate them in the community. Is there anyone currently on your radar?
39:43 - You've said SC2 is the best that its ever been currently. How do we spread that message?
46:00 - In 2016, we’ve seen a teamless player win the most prestigious starcraft tournament in the world, we’ve seen a foreigner finally conquer a Korean tournament after a 16 year drought. What’s your favourite storyline heading into Blizzcon?
47:30 – Blizzcon predictions
54:10 - @GGemini19 asks: ‘why you think 1/1/1 is impossible to hold as protoss. delaying mscore and going robo with fast gates and breaking contain with probes + first warp in + 1 immo works well’
55:48 - What do you think of the new additions to SC2? The announcer voice packs and separate MMR are really cool, but it feels like they’re really late additions. What are your thoughts on the new features?
59:30 – Diversifying yourself as an esports personality.
1:01:23 - Fan Questions
1:09:08 - In the Bobby Scar interview, you mentioned being a withdrawn, bullied, nerdy kid who wasn’t very socially confident and that the idea of esports really kept you going. Do you ever sit back and look at your life, thinking of how ironic it is for that kid to have ended up as a full time commentator with hundreds of thousands of fans?
