So the big thing that has been circulating around is that Ashes of Creation has gone from an MMORPG to a Battle Royale Game. This is 100% False.

The Battle Royale testing mode is one of three testing modes in Alpha 1 - Phase 1. This mode will be joined in December 2018 with Castle Sieges (where class kits will be introduced) and then in March 2019 with Horde Mode (where we will see the first of action mode PvE).

People have to trust that a select group of players have seen Ashes of Creation as a MMORPG in an early form during Alpha - 0.

So no, Ashes of Creation is not a BR game now.
