So Intrepid Studios is bringing a ton of amazing features to Ashes of Creation. The Node System allows players to shape the world, there is an open world flagging system with a griefing protection system (Corruption) built in, there are meaningful PvP Themes (Wars and Sieges) and there is a robust Artisan System. The game basically has something for everyone. Oddly enough one of those “things” for everyone is the In Game Voice Chat. Now, for me, I’m never going to use it, but people are stoked for this and they keep asking for proximity chat. In this video I share some information about the in-game voice options, as well as why I don’t think proximity chat is a good thing. I don’t want to dismiss the hype of the people who are happy about in-game voice chat, so let’s hear from everyone in the comment section.
