I did a video on the World of Verra a couple of weeks ago detailing out the meaning of different terms; however, a lot of people still think Ashes of Creation is going to be the kind of game where distance and travel time don’t matter. I made this video because while working on the Tavern video I realized that I can’t really explain the importance of Taverns as rest stops and gathering points, unless I really drive home the point that travel time and distance will matter.

So, hopefully this will help the people who are thinking you will be able to “ride all the rides” in the theme park each day, well that’s not how Ashes is going to function. The journey is just as much content as the content is content so keep that in mind. Plus, there is that whole “world building” that needs to happen, but that’s not the topic of this video.
