In today's video I eat a candy and test out a new Zoom H1 microphone. Triggers include mouth sounds, crinkling, and whispering. If you dislike mouth sounds, this probably isn't the video for you! Feel free to post your thoughts on the sound quality (clarity, stereo separation, positional effect) as compared to my normal Blue Yeti mic. This isn't so much a mic upgrade as it is a side-grade, but I'm nevertheless curious to hear your opinions!

----- What's ASMR, and why am I whispering? -----
I whisper in my videos because they're intended to trigger a sensation known as ASMR (Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response). ASMR is a very specific feeling that some people experience when they hear certain soft sounds, like whispering and tapping, or see certain visuals, like deliberate hand motions. It's often described as a pleasant tingling in the head and neck, accompanied by a sense of calmness and mild euphoria. Many people watch ASMR videos to help them relax or fall asleep. To learn more about ASMR, I recommend checking out http://asmruniversity.com/about-2/about-asmr. Happy tingles!
