Assassin's Creed Nexus is one of the first truly AAA feeling games to hit standalone Quest and if you were wondering how the graphics and performance hold up on the older Quest 2 hardware, I spent several hours testing against a Quest 3 so you don't have to!

The effect I was experiencing was similar to 4K gaming on my TV where if it is not at LEAST a solid 60fps it feels really harsh on my eyes.

I had plugged in my OG Xbox a while back and noticed it felt REALLY smooth despite being lower frames in a lot of games.

I feel like the softer lower resolution of the older console made the small jumps between frames of objects harder to detect.

I’m planning to try Quest Game Optimize and see if I can REDUCE resolution to make Q3 feel better.
