0Our father is sick, but Madeline has asked us to aide free a slave named George. We help George escape and find another citizenE. We get George to the bayou and meet up with a continental soldier. He agrees to see that George makes it to the North. We learn that Vazquez, who we assume is the Company Man, is to appear at a social gathering. We meet him, charm him, and assassinate him. We learn that he is in fact not the Company Man! Our father passes from his illness as our search for the Company Man continues. Our search takes us North where we ally with Connor. Together we find the informant who turns out to be George, now working for the Loyalists! Before he is felled by our blade, he tells us the Company Man has been under our noses this entire time. Our foster mother, Madeline, has been the “Company Man” this entire time, and a Templar grand master! We run away to seek guidance from our mentor, Agate. We learn that he has betrayed us as well because he knew who Madeline was. Agate is filled with remorse for what he has done and takes his own life. We return to Madeline and accept our role as a tool of the Templars… But that’s not what really happened. Because we’ve unlocked all the secrets of citizenE, we learn the truth. That is Aveline did not accept being a Templar and killed Madeline, allowing the Assassins to continue to protect freedom and strive to free all people.
