As a fan of the series since the very first game, I have completed all main Assassin's Creed games until Assassin's Creed Origins. But then Odyssey came - and then Valhalla. And although competent of an RPG action game those two may be, what used to make Assassin's Creed "Assassin's Creed" has now been lost.

This is a very poignant video to make since the memories of me staying up all night completing all the previous AC games are still freshly embedded in my mind. I just can't believe that all my fears which already started in Assassin's Creed III has now come true. Assassin's Creed today is NOT Assassin's Creed.

So here are the things, mechanics, and elements I desperately hope to return to this once beloved franchise.

Ubisoft, if you're listening - bring Patrice Désilets back.

For those who don't know, Patrice Désilet is creator of the series and the father of Assassin's Creed.
Unfortunately, he had left Ubisoft just after releasing AC: Brotherhood. That explains the degradation of the series starting Revelations.
