Today we are playing Assassin's Creed Odyssey, which was really fun to play, since I am a Assassin's Creed fan so why not play this game. In this video Leonidas is fighting the Persians, than Layla finds the spear that he used in the fight. This gives her a way to get into the Animus and she plays as Alexious, which is the son of Myrrine who is Leonidas's daughter. The game was primarily developed by Ubisoft Québec, which had previously worked on Assassin's Creed: Syndicate. The concept for the game emerged in 2015, as the team was wrapping up development on Syndicate. In the shift to an RPG-sequel game, inspiration was taken from titles such as The Witcher 3, Fallout, and The Elder Scrolls, in regards to the idea of player choice. The development team engaged in communication with the team behind Assassin's Creed: Origins; it was decided to quote: "push [the series] forward" with the introduction of RPG element. The setting of ancient Greece was chosen as it was one of the most requested settings from the fanbase.
Assassin’s Creed Odyssey begins more than 2,400 years ago at the onset of the Peloponnesian war: a decades-long struggle between Athens and Sparta for dominion over the ancient Greek world. It’s a fitting period to explore that’s rife with social and political intrigue, full-scale warfare on land and sea, and a tangible air of myth and legend. And after an astonishing 60-plus hours of galloping, sailing, and slicing through that historical-fiction sandbox, it’s easy to see why it was worth fighting so hard over. Don't forget that this story is placed where the Pelonisation War was set, a fight against Sparta and Athens.
