Glitches in Assassin's Creed: Origins!

Points of interest:
1. Carry break-outs : you can break-out of carrying by dashing frames before the prompt indicator completes. Doing this to a body on the ground just makes the prompt defunct, but doing this to a body while on a boat - while having a long weapon on your back while shield-blocking - causes your weapons to become invisible.

Breaking-out of a carry prompt of a mounted body or hidden inside a hiding spot, causes the body to float.

2. Eagle out-of-bounds: If you call ("Senu") your eagle a few frames before activating a "mission table" prompt, the game will overlay its menu screen with Senu's flying. Normally the game restricts how low or high you can fly (you can't actually go very low), however the the menu screen not only takes control of Senu away from you, but it also takes control away from the game's auto-hover. Meaning that the game is unable to rise Senu when he drops to a certain height, Senu then flies through all collision and eventually drops underneath the map.

If you then exit the menu, while only a little way under the map, the game will force Senu rise up through the ground and up to its normal height. However, if you let Senu drop under the map for a few minutes Senu will get stuck under the map in one spot.

There is an variation of this glitch, and that is that if you move Bayek just before activating this glitch, Senu will begin to rise infinitely beyond the game's restriction. Eventually Senu will get stuck in the sky in one spot.

3. The Matrix-esque lag glitch: This happened to me twice after fooling around with the combined weapons glitch. Bayek got stuck in place (once permanently) but while still having control of the camera.

4. Bird AI glitch: for some unknown reason a random bird became glitched while I was trying to hunt it. It just hovered and flapped chaotically over my head.

5. Out-of-bounds in Siwa (credit: The_Nefits): One of my friends came over to play this game and he jumped in the water where the ground is very steep. He breached through the ground and ended up swimming out-of-bounds. I then replicated it and noticed that the collision in that area is very unstable. After you fall out-of-bounds for a while Bayek's limbs become comically stretched like an elastic.

6. Moving inside the menu glitch: I've yet to test this glitch thoroughly, but if you enter the world map a few frames before activating a shop prompt, you cause both menus to be combined in an unusual way.

Firstly, you are able to move while you are inside two of the menu screens. However, you're not only moving while INSIDE the menu screen, but you're also actually moving OUTSIDE in the game-world. So you can engage in elements of the game-world while you're moving around inside of the menus. Luckily, three of the menu screens become glitched as to let you see whereabouts in the game you are. Since you can't move inside these particular menus, you have to keep alternating between screens when traveling through the game.

Secondly, the game thinks that you are still inside the shop this entire time, while you're moving away from it. This means that you can access the shop during any moment even if you're far away from it engaged in some other action. This is done by exiting the main menu once, the shop menu will appear on the screen.

You can access most of your actions while inside the menu (anything except for inputs that are shared by the menu that cause you exit the menu, or similar).

Not in vid 1: If you draw your bow while in the menu, Bayek will only bring his arms up in a fighting stance but the bow will become drawn while on his back.

Not in vid 2: you can summon Senu (the eagle) while in the menu, but you have to access the menus that allow game-world visibility in order to see Senu. You can also access the shop while flying.

Unfortunately, Triangle prompts can't seem to be activated while you're in the menu since the game thinks that you're also inside the shop (haven't tested non-triangle prompts). However, in-game scenes play while you are inside the menu and you can also engage in combat, but dying in the menu ends the state.

7. Combined weapons glitch: I only showed some examples but you can combine your weapons in different, glitchy configurations:

A general method is to hold aim with a ranged weapon (I've only tested with sleeping daggers and fire balls at this date), then dash while switching weapons. Then do that a second time. This can cause situations where Bayek is holding a melee weapon at the same time as "holding" a fireball (or sleeping darts, not in vid). This turns his melee weapons into fire-bazookas. I need to come back and rewrite some of this since I wrote it in a rush...

8. A lot left to test...
