Pros of this sequel:

The storytelling and level designs are top notch.

Bombs crafting gameplay is pretty useful.

Cons of this sequel:

Ezio is a worse fighter (his new execution animations leave him very vulnerable for annoying length(s) of time).

Assassin Guild Management is more complicated than it needs to be. (Raising Master Assassins is cool, but having to maintain influence over cities is annoying.)


Anyway, for the first memory sequence, know two things:

One, there's a glitch while climbing Masyaf castle in which Ezio randomly back jumps off the roof. To work around the glitch, shimmey him on the edge of the roof until another part of the roof is right behind him.

Second, during the kill 5 five guards from hay challenge, run in the field of view of guards to grab their attention. Next, fast walk to the nearest hay pile.
If you do things right, the guard won't attack you, but he will approach the hay.
If he doesn't get close enough for a stealth kill, then feel free to use a High-Profile mode assassination.
Ezio will leap out the hay to kill the enemy, but you will still be given credit for utilizing the hiding spot to launch from.
