Assassin's Creed Chronicles is a series of 2.5D Assassin's Creed games. The series consists of three games, all of which are currently in development by Climax Studios and Ubisoft Montreal. They will be published by Ubisoft. The games feature new protagonists and a design that is new to the franchise, a 2.5D world inspired by traditional brush paintings. Originally, Chronicles: China was part of the season pass of Assassin's Creed Unity. In March 2015, Ubisoft announced that China will be accompanied by Chronicles: India and Chronicles: Russia. Chronicles: China features the Chinese assassin Jun in 1526, during the downfall of the Ming Dynasty. As the last remaining Assassin of the Chinese Brotherhood, Jun returns to her homeland with a vendetta. Newly trained by the legendary Ezio Auditore, she is hell-bent on exacting vengeance and restoring her fallen Brotherhood.
