Arno finds a battered body in the catacombs. There are only two likely culprits amongst the potential suspects but unfortunately a lot of the evidence is circumstantial. Spoilers below about the case. Afterwards I hunt for chests until my total game completion reaches 58%.

I accuse the gravedigger, presuming he'd caught Philibert breaking into the catacombs. This was the last straw for the gravedigger who'd had a spate of recent thefts, so he boshed him with the spade and killed him (cracking the spade in the process). He purchased a new spade and was digging a grave to hide the body and possibly the murder weapon. The cross, bible and beads could have belonged to anyone. Turns out I was completely wrong and it was the nun, oh well, but that's the problem with circumstantial evidence.
