Hey everyone, this is just me revisiting and messing around in the world of Assassin's Creed Unity. I played this game a long time ago when it launched and I had real mixed feelings about this game back then, most of it being good of course, as it was a very unique take on the franchise which I really liked.
The story is quite boring to be honest, not really that compelling at all in my opinion. Arno as a protagonist is very self-centered and only joins the assassins because he has nothing to lose. That is really not a good reason to make me care for the character now is it. Again, there is no compelling arc and the whole story keeps dragging along with you going on a selfish errands to hunt down the people who wronged you. That is not to say that it is all bad though, because Arno does try to redeem himself towards the end and that is the only time the game truly shines as an Assassin's Creed title. Because of that, I still think Arno should have had a concluding story to settle a lot of unanswered questions that the game presents you with.
I still love the parkour and combat system in this game which is definitely got to be my favorite of the series.
So relax, enjoy, have some popcorn while you are at it and of course have a laugh as that is what is intended for you to be doing while you are watching my videos.
