So, Cactus vs. VPC4 Transit+ is something I've been thinking about for a while. Granted, VPC4 Transit+ is a pretty tough level, but I was pretty sure Cactus could handle it. =)
As usual, it took a bit of time to figure out a reliable opening strategy... and I actually tested out a couple different options with Cactus. But eventually settled on the one you see in this video, where Cactus gets an Accelerate and Firepower to start the level. ^_^
As far as the rest of the level... well, there are definitely some tricky spots in Transit+, and I definitely had to make some strategy adjustments in certain places. Interestingly, including which box to leave for last. I'm still not sure exactly why, but leaving the lower-left box for last seemed to be giving Cactus more trouble than I was expecting... so I tried a couple other options... and the first couple times I tried upper-left, the next phase actually went fairly well... so instead of testing all the remaining options, I decided to just stick with upper-left instead. =)
Of course, in this particular run... the next phase (melee brutes and bullet-ring jellyfish) didn't go, uh, quite as smoothly as in some previous runs... but I guess it went smoothly enough. ^^; Cactus persevered, and made it though not just that phase, but the entire rest of the level... and I ended up with my first ever Cactus vs. VPC4 Transit+ S+! ^_^
