Cavalcadence plays Cadence 74: Glass Longsword shattered + 0-gold win (All Zones Mode: AMPLIFIED)
So, the recent 0-gold Mary run (Mary 124) went pretty well, so I thought I'd give 0-gold Cadence another try. =)
And on the very first run... the game offered Cadence a 1-2 Glass Spear. Given the mistakes I'd made on my most recent 0-gold Cadence attempts, I wasn't fully confident I'd be able to make it through the entire run with a Glass weapon... but I was fairly comfortable using it as an early-game weapon. =) On 1-3, Cadence switched to a Glass Longsword... but I was definitely keeping an eye out for a decent non-Glass weapon.
Unfortunately... as you can probably guess by the video title, the game never did offer a weapon I was completely comfortable trading the Glass Longsword for (in hindsight, I probably should've taken the 2-3 Obsidian Broadsword, but...). And then I made a careless mistake. =p
Fortunately, Cadence managed to get the Shard without taking any additional damage... and even more fortunately, on the very next level, the game actually offered Cadence an Obsidian Spear. =)
Long story short, despite the occasional careless mistake or two, the rest of the run actually went fairly smoothly... and despite losing her Glass Longsword, Cadence made it all the way to the end for the 0-gold win! ^_^
