So it kinda feels like it's been a while since I've recorded a Liquorice run... ^.^;
Anyway, similar to the way it took me a while to get around to recording the normal Campaign VPC4 "mirror match".... the Campaign+ VPC4 Liquorice vs. Liquorice battle is something that's seemed like it'd be fun to try... but for various reasons, I never did quite get around to...
Until now. =)
As usual for Collider and Collider+, figuring out a character-specific opening strategy was definitely important... and after a bit of testing, I eventually settled upon an opening that got Liquorice an Accelerate and a Firepower (Y+R)... in other words, basically the same opening I ended up using in the normal version of VPC4 Collider. =)
Interestingly... in this particular run, I didn't set up the teleport slash quite right... and Liquorice ended up with Accelerate and Shutdown instead. ^^; But while I did have generally better results with Y+R, I did have some pretty good results with Y+B as well... so I kept the run going, and even though I wasn't able to get Liquorice another Accelerate during that first phase... she did still manage to make it through. =)
Long story short, despite a couple close calls, Liquorice not only made it to the final phase... but also had a really good Liquorice+ battle (Maximum Overdrive!)... and I ended up with my first ever Liquorice vs. VPC4 Collider+ S+! ^_^
