This was made a year and a half ago. I was about to post it but withdrew because I thought 'maybe not all people are like this'.

I realised I was being too optimistic as I found out a couple of days ago in another reasonably big AR server that a lot of the members were openly rejoicing the fact they are free to say "N - - - - -" slur without Discord getting on their backs.

This kind of unhinged bigotry is not new to me, my expectations were low. I know Discord is a cesspool of d-heads without standards and I have been blocking people who say slurs and hate speech in public. But when half of the feed on this server was saying "blocked message", enough was enough.

I haven't been too active on that server because I have to go to work etc. but I think I've seen enough to know that most, if not all the people in the community are like this, as in: they are bigots and racists and doesn't deserve the comfort and privilege of not being discriminated against or for that matter human rights they enjoy, or they are just afraid to speak up, which means the people who have the clout or authority to change things are racist f***s.
