Welcome to our Sunday Brunch! This week we're playing Asterix & Obelix for the SNES. It was developed by Infogrames in 1995, and released on PC, Game Boy and Game Boy Colour as well as the Super Nintendo.

The gameplay consists of your usual sidescroller elements: platforming, light combat and fairly decent level designs that appeal to both mechanics. Do not mistake simple mechanics for easy gameplay however.

The game is based on some of the comic books about Asterix (and Obelix), taking place in locations explored in those comics.

Sunday Brunch is our weekly couchgaming session, focusing on old retro games and consoles.

Join us as we brush the dust of our old retro consoles (well, mostly Magnus’, cause he’s a hoarder), take to the couch like it's 1991 and play some nostalgic favorites as well as crap ones. Both known and unknown stuff will be sampled, and sometimes played to completion.
