Astral Ascent is an awesome new roguelite in development. I absolutely adore this game. It's the rare example of a game that makes death something to look forward to. You aren't just dumped back at your last checkpoint, also your interactions with the characters are great. Astral Ascent is an extremely ambitious project, and the initial offering while still in development, I think gives great reason to be optimistic that the developers will hit their mark and produce something extremely special. The art direction and the art assets themselves are of extremely high quality and look drop dead gorgeous. The UI and core combat of the game are polished to the point that you can see clearly the vision the developers have for the game. The controls are tight and responsive. Hope you enjoy my video.
