Here's a video of Astral Chain, trying to show off the marvelous combat system. Sorry for the bad quality of the video, I had to rely on Switch's video capture, but I'm grateful it exists at all.

I'm not the best at the game, but it has so much freedom for creativity, and the game is good at making even some basic things look like an awesome spectacle. It's truly an unique experience of a game, essentially controlling two characters at once, on top of chain gimmicks.

The only thing I wish for this game is that more enemies could be launched and juggled. A lot that can be juggled die super quickly, too, so it's not very common while running through cases to be able to get much out of juggling mechanics. That said, the training room sparring is a very fun place to hang out, and even when you can't juggle enemies, the gameplay is super clean.
