Astra Phobos takes place in the same universe as Dark Transit and the events in Astro Phobos happens just a few weeks before the events in Dark Transit. This time you will not fight with the UFO/Aliens, instead of that rumors said that Aliens released some kind of horrifying Creatures in this mining Colony and those Creatures attack and killed most of the working Kappas....

You play as the Kappa Hal, and you just finished your shift in the mines when a major Incident occured, now it is up to you to descide what you are going to do next, Are you going to save the other Kappas? Or are you just thinking about yourself and the tresures that you can bring with you. What about your friend "Ash"/Kappa 120 A/2 is he OK? Are you going to save him or you just don't care about him???

The main objective is to get to your spaceship so you can get back to the ISS base, and this is all you need to do to complete the game, but you can collect treasures to raise your score, and there is other Kappas you can rescue, which will also raise your score.

Green and red computers has to be operated to open and close doors. Some places there are puzzle elements in this, because you might need to open up for some of the creatures so they can get to another section, and then close the door and lock them up there.

The Crushing Cart is also included in this game, this can be moved and enemies going into this will be destroyed. Some of the wall are weak and if you pick up the drill you can break down these walls. The red flickers you come across needs to be activated because they all opens up for locked doors. As you proceed some accurate timing will be needed to use the moving platforms and avoid the lava.

There are only two types of enemies - The ones on the ground, that only goes left/right, and the more unpredictable flying ones (which can not be killed by the Crushing Cart).

The blocky graphics used here is typical for an AGD game and actually there are only three different moving sprites in this game: Flying enemy, walking enemy, moving platform. The gameplay is more simple than in Dark Transit 1 and 2 as there is no in game menu system, but it is okay fun for a platform game with different stuff to do, and it is a game you have a chance to complete when you have memorized it. There are three different endings...

Available in both a 48k (without music) and 128k AY version.
