Welcome back everybody! To Let's play ASTRONEER, part 2 - Gameplay. With the basic learned its time to go deeper in to the exploring of our little planet in ASTRONEER. There are a lot of wrecks around our starting zone in ASTRONEER, some of them will allow us to get new research but for now we need to explore the cave systems under our base. The caves in ASTRONEER will allows us to mine out Malachite – this is in other words after smelting copper that needs to be mined in order to get in to the medium tier of advancements. After getting a good amount of Malachite we can use the smelter back at the base in order to get copper. Copper will be used for more devices and more modules for our base. However there is something else in the caves in ASTRONEER. There are plants and other unknown materials we can take back to the base for researching. Researching new those items will give us the possibility to unlock more modules and even equipment for our ASTRONEER as well as vehicle – yes ASTRONEER have vehicles we can use to explore the planets and space even more for to make them working we need a fully functional base. As I venture in to the caves I foun d not only resources but also a remains of other ASTRONEER those may be remains of the previous expedition on this planet. We need to be sure we will last longer, the research gave us new modules such as printer or trade platform for later use as well as fuel Condense that will come in handy very soon for unlimited fuel and trade possibilities. Takeing big amounts of times we can use for reasearch may be a little problem at the beginning but since we can use the vehicles to travel with us underground we will just have to do our goal in different way. The underground will allow You to harvest hydrazine, copper and aluminium for start along with large amounts of dangerous research items we can use for the research module in ASTRONEER. For other materials we will need to check different places or maybe even different planets that will come in time in ASTRONEER. Sooner it turned out the solar is not actually a effective way to gather power from the sun but a proper solar panel made in the printer will allow us to gather great amounts of power to fuel the entire further base with power, and since all the modules need them we will have to make also batteries for further expansion of the base but for that we will need lithium we yet have to find a way to gather lithium in ASTRONEER. A new device we can build is a platform called storage, storage can be used to store items and minerals around our base, such as going on large mining expedition and returning to the base with a good setup of resources we can put them all at the storage and later the storage can be just standing in our base, however we may risk it getting lost because of the sand storms so it’s a good idea to attach the storage to the module of the base to make it stand in one place. Its also a good idea to place the storage at the smelter and the printers – as those modules in ASTRONEER will use a great amount or resources to make even more needed base equipment!
