We check out the first world (aka side 1 and 2 of the first record) of Ape Out gameplay, a Hotline Miami-style game where you are an escaping ape facing a gauntlet of armed guards.

You get to apply fun techniques to defeating the guards in Ape Out gameplay, who you can easily punch, take hostage, use their limbs as ranged weapons and more, but you're also quite fragile and go down easily to a couple of bullets or a stick of dynamite. When you restart, the level will be procedurally generated to have a different layout.

Also in the Ape Out gameplay full release on PC, the percussive jazz soundtrack adapts to your moves and successes, with every fight punctuated with cymbal crashes and more!
