In this look at Astroneer 1.0 gameplay, we drill to the Calidor core and Vesania core. Firstly we need to activate the surface gateway chambers, and this time we need a more powerful set-up of medium generators, which require platforms and carbon, to ensure we hit the power requirements.

For Calidor, we repeat our success using the tractor drill with trailer, but the trip ends in chaos, meaning we have to drill down manually. For Vesania (exotic planet), we try something more powerful, building a medium rover and fitting it with the drill, a medium generator and our new hydrazene thruster.

Also in this Astroneer core video, we shred us some small generators, update the game and change outfits mid-episode without mentioning it, find another archway underground and move a shuttle the old-fashioned way.
