Here are some of the things I picked up along the way on my quest to destroy Desolo and set off the largest explosion I possibly can. My goal is 40-50k units of Hydrogen but it lags my game so much I'm not sure I can reach that amount.

Tips:
1. Use Novus and collect Methane (75 PPU + no need to move gas to another planet)
2. For Hydrogen, collect gas on Vesania (100 PPU)
3. Use RTGs (Condensers require 6 U/s, RTGs generate 4 U/s)
i.e. for 24 Condensers I would need 36 RTGS (you can make do with less)
4. Use Packagers on Silos while still attached to Shuttle to remove gas easily
5. A gas canister 1/5th full will explode the same as a full canister so you can remove them early
6. No need to spread the gas around, it does the same damage stacked up in the same spot
