Astroneer Wanderer Update gameplay adds a new adventure based around scanning for probes, in which you print a probe scanner and use it to track down a crashed probe on each planet.

We see how to craft the probe scanner, and use it first to find a probe on Sylva that's conveniently close to our base, followed by a trip to the exotic moon Novus, where another one lies in wait. We unlock special new Astroneer Wanderer skins based on finding these probes: Wanderer Red and Wanderer Blue. And there's still several more to find and unlock!

Also in the Astroneer Wanderer Update, we discuss the addition of curved storage items, a figurine platform designed for playing Astroneer chess, craftable and findable figurines that can be used as chess pieces, new camera filters, new beacon colours and more.
