Atari 2600 Game Play, Thrust (Homebrew, PD)
15In which I play "Thrust", a homebrew game by Thomas Jentzsch and Xype which has seen numerous revisions over the years. I obtained this 2004 public domain version of the game from the "retrobrews" project pages on Github, which has been granted permission to distribute by the game authors.
This is an astonishing game for the 2600. Really incredible. You need to play this game. Graphics, sound, and control are all spot on.
Sadly, I did not get the sound balance quite right here, but it's not the worst thing I've published recently. Also, there should be an HD version of this video available, assuming I've finally figured out how to make that happen without having to upload 4GB files to YT.
