In which I play "Fire Fighter" the 1982 game by Imagic. This one has you controlling a firefighter who can put flames out with water and can climb the ladder from a ladder truck. You also control the ladder's angle and extension. The multi-plexing of the controls is fairly clever. Graphics and sound are reasonably good, but sadly there isn't much game play here. On the "hard" level, there is literally no way, at least not that I can figure out, to improve on the score achieved by waiting for the flames to go out and picking up the poor stranded person on the ground floor. They could just stroll out the front door for all the good the fire fighter is doing. This one would have worked best as a game for fairly young kids, I think.
