5In which I have a few goes at "Beamrider", published by Activision in 1984, programmed by Dave Rolfe. This is an excellent game. I had forgotten how much depth it has. Each level adds new play elements in the form of new or more aggressive baddies. There's a base to destroy! You've got a limited number of missiles! It's just a really playable game.
