5In which I play "Colossal Adventure", a text adventure from Level 9 Computing from 1983. This is a 1986 re-release by Rainbird, as part of a trilogy of text adventures they've dubbed "The Jewels of Darkness". Pictures were added to the game, which is actually quite nice.
I think I played long enough to give a solid feel for the game, but I don't feel like I've necessarily gotten that far into the game. It's hard to tell, but it was not unusual for this sort of game to be quite extensive.
