7In which I play "Insects", from 1982 by Jack Snoeyink. This is "Centipede". It's not trying to be anything else. Fortunately, it's a nicely done implementation of that classic game. Controls are solid, graphics are reasonably well done - good use of colour on the playfield. Some of the deaths by spider feel a bit cheap, but if you avoid some danger zones and pay attention to their arcs, you can usually avoid them.
All in all, this is a fun game and worth some play time.
