In which I play "Let's Hop", published in 1991 by Disk-Line out of Germany, and written by Christoph Ballhause. I content that Christoph's surname is the primary reason that the protagonist of this game is a ball.

It's a nice implementation of a keep-the-hopping-ball-from-falling-off-the-platforms game. Off the top of my head, I can't think of the names of any others in the genre, but I know this is not the first. The graphics are nicely done, the music adds to the game, which is nice, because it is more usual in Atari games that the music really distracts from the game, in my opinion.
