4In which I play "Jumping Jack", published in 1983 by Imagine Software, programmed by Albert Ball. This is an interesting game. The goal is simple; get Jack to the top of each level. As you pass through levels (or, more likely, don't) lines of a poem telling the story of Jack are revealed. It may not appear to be the case at first, but this is actually a game that rewards skill, and you can improve by understanding the simple mechanics, and planning a route upward. It's also harder than it seems like it should be.
