Atari 8-Bit Game Play, Moon Patrol by Avalon Hill
In which I play "Moon Patrol", published in 1982 by Avalon Hill, and written by Bill Hood. This is not that "Moon Patrol", honest, no matter how much the name of the game is exactly the same as the other "Moon Patrol".
This on is a horizontal-scrolling shooter in which the controls are "inverted" like you're flying a plane...for some reason. I feel like it was done to make it harder to play, but perhaps that is not fair. I don't know for sure and likely never will. Mr. Hood, if you're out there, maybe you could straighten me out.
This game is alright, but it is unsophisticated. The four levels of difficulty add some challenge, but I was honestly fighting my instinctive up / down reactions more than the game.
