2In which I play "Poker SAM", published in 1983 by Don't Ask Software, and written by Jerry White. This is a basic 5-card stud poker game with ATASCII graphics. The gimmick is that the "software automated mouth" (SAM), calls out the action with synthesized speech, and does a certain amount of smack-talking and kibbitzing.
Remember, this was from 1983 and recognizable speech coming out of your home computer was pretty impressive. 😄
