7In which I play "Spindizzy", published by Winner in 1989. This is not one I've played before. In fact it was well after my time owning my original Atari 600XL, and I've never visited it via emulation before now.
It's quite a polished game, and, judging from the size of the map available to explore, it's a massive game. Control is tricky, requiring simultaneous use of the keyboard and joystick. It only now occurs to me that keyboard control might have been an option, and that it might have been the way to play, to allow for precise selection of direction as well as using the other keyboard controls - primarily the space bar for braking.
Anyway, I think I could easily have loved this game back in the day!
