In which I revisit one of my favourite games of all time, "Buried Bucks", published by Analog Software in 1982, and written by the amazing Mr. Tom Hudson.

I'm doing this for a couple of reasons. The first is that I love the game. The second is that my original video on this was not recorded in an HD format.

As I ruminate during the game play itself, this game is simple on the surface, but constitutes a wonderful balance of arcade-style play with resource management, and a surprising amount of strategy. I think this game should be used as a classroom example for students of game development.
