Hello, Peter 47890 here or Sirus and welcome to my review of Atelier Ayesha. Well having played Atelier Rorona, Atelier Totori, and Atelier Meruru. It only made sense for me to get Atelier Ayesha to give my opinion on the game since I immensely enjoyed the previous games in the series for being a pretty different type of rpg from the usual rpg that I've played. I love how the stories in the game have this "slice of life" vibe to it, I love the alchemy system, and I just love the overall structure of the game. So, the question is. Did I enjoy this game as much as the other games in the series? Well to find out by reviewing the game. Atelier Ayesha is a rpg with turn based combat that was developed by Gust and published by Tecmo Koei . Yes Tecmo Koei, not NIS of America. Why am I mentioning this specifically? Well there are a few problems that fan of the series has with how Tecmo Koei publishing did in terms of this game. But I'll talk about that when I get to it. Anyway, Atelier Ayesha is available on the PS3 for retail and it's also available for download on PSN network. Atelier Ayesha is also a new game for a new sub series for the Atelier Series. So that means that it's not connected to the Atelier Arland series in terms of story and characters.

Platform: PS3 & PSN
Developer: Gust
Publisher: Tecmo Koei

Pros
- Fantastic alchemy system(and pretty fun combat system)
- fantastic soundtrack
-enjoyable story(best of the ps3 atelier games)
- structure can be open ended and rewarding with memory point system

Cons
- some inconviences like how job request is spread out
- no Japanese dub
-wish bosses were more spread out from start to finish

Summary:

Overall, I find playing Atelier Ayesha to be a very fun game. I found the story to be the best in the Atelier PS3 games, the characters to be enjoyable, the visuals appealing, the music being awesome, and the gameplay to be very fun to play around. I also have to add that I found the world of atelier ayesha to be interesting. well more interesting than the Atelier Arland games. so that means that I'm really looking forward to seeing more games set in this universe. In terms of presentation, this game is probably the best in the series. Gameplay wise, it kind of fall short in comparison to Atelier Meruru due to how it's structured in comparison but I still found the game plenty of fun to play through. Atelier Ayesha or the traditional atelier games in general aren't games for everyone but if you're trying to find games to relax, then this game might fit the bill.
