Atomfall could be described as an open -world, first person, single player, retro, survival-action-horror-mystery game, a Fallout-Lite or Stalker-Lite, with a smattering of RPG and a healthy dose of modern Resident Evil.

Atmosphere is one of the most important aspects of a game for me, and Rebellion have put so much love into Atomfall that it shows with every minute you play and every inch of the world you explore.

I think it's also incredibly refreshing to have an open-world where the POI's are dense enough not to need fast-travel and the game can be finished in about 20 hours, so you don't get dragged down by the usual grind of much larger games.

Almost everything clicked for me with Atomfall, and I think if you enjoy Fallout 4, Stalker, or Resident Evil, you'll enjoy Atomfall.
