Audi Sport Quattro S1 + MG Metro 6R4 Group B Rally Legends, Belga Team Livery, Pops, Exhaust Flames!
101In this video I paid tribute to two legendary Group B Rally cars, the Audi Sport Quattro S1 and the MG Metro 6R4. Both with Belgian Team livery took part in the latest editions of the Rally Legend in San Marino with all their charm including exhaust flames & pops. We are in the golden age of rallies; the cars are extremely powerful and often challenging to manage. The Audi S1 was introduced in the races at the end of 1985 as a further evolution of the Audi Sport Quattro, and for the last cars that run in 1986, the turbocharged 5-cylinder in-line engine is capable of developing 441 KW, 600hp. With a weight of only 1,090 kg, the acceleration is impressive, from 0-100 km/h in 3.1 seconds. The MG Metro 6R4 was built based on the Austin Metro and participated in the world rally championship in the seasons 1985 and 1986. It was never fully competitive due to problems of reliability; the best result was the 3rd place at the British Rally in 1985. Equipped with permanent four-wheel drive, it mounts a 3-litre V6 naturally aspirated engine by Rover, placed in the central-rear area and develops about 410hp. The performances report an acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.2 seconds and from 0 to 180km/h in 10 seconds.

In questo video ho reso omaggio a due leggendarie auto da Rally Gruppo B, l'Audi Sport Quattro S1 e la MG Metro 6R4. Entrambe con livrea Belga Team hanno preso parte alle ultime edizioni del Rally Legend a San Marino con tutto il loro fascino comprensivo di fiamme e scoppi allo scarico. Ci troviamo nel periodo d'oro dei rally, le vetture sono estremamente potenti e spesso difficoltose da gestire. L'Audi S1 viene introdotta nelle gare alla fine del 1985 come ulteriore evoluzione dell'Audi Sport Quattro e per le ultime vetture che corrono nel 1986 il motore turbo, 5 cilindri in linea è capace di sviluppare 441 KW, ovvero 600cv. Con un peso di soli 1.090 Kg, l'accelerazione è strepitosa, da 0-100 Km/h in 3,1 secondi. La MG Metro 6R4 è realizzata sulla base della Austin Metro ed ha partecipato al campionato del mondo rally nelle stagioni 1985 e 1986. Non fu mai pienamente competitiva per problemi di affibabilità, il miglior risultato fu il 3° posto al Rally di Gran Bretagna nel 1985. Dotata di trazione integrale permanente monta un motore Rover V6 da 3 litri aspirato in zona centrale-posteriore che sviluppa circa 410cv. Le prestazioni riportano un'accelerazione da 0 a 100 km/h in 3,2 secondi e da 0 a 180km/h in 10 secondi.
