774Here the 25° Gara Nazionale d'Aratura Trattori d'Epoca 2020 (Italian national old tractors ploughing race) held at Quingentole, near Mantua and organised by the "Gli Aratori del Po" association. Despite all the drawbacks associated with this period of restraints, the morning pleasantly took place. Lately, also thanks to my friend Davide, I'm passionate about the world of vintage tractors/agricultural machines. Also this year I was very impressed by the number of vehicles present at the excellent ploughing race. Many Landini Testa Calda, Vèlite, 44 Major, L35, L45, but also OM, Gualdi, Fiat, etc. The fascinating procedure to start-up their engines is always fascinating. Hearing them puffing and working in the fields with the tools of the time is still very interesting. We realize how much agricultural mechanization has made enormous progress. Congratulations to the organizers and owners for keeping traditions alive and preserving authentic historical metal jewels!

Questo è un video Highlights della 25° Gara Nazionale d'Aratura Trattori d'Epoca che si è svolta a Quingentole (Mn) organizzata dall'associazione "Gli Aratori del Po". Nonostante tutti gli inconvenienti legati a questo periodo di restizioni la mattinata si è svolta in modo piacevole. Ultimamente, anche grazie all'amico Davide, mi sto appassionando al mondo dei trattori/macchine agricole d'epoca. Anche quest'anno sono rimasto molto colpito dalla quantità di mezzi presenti alla splendida gara di aratura. Ovviamente tanti Landini Testa Calda, Vèlite, 44 Major, L35, L45, ma anche OM, Gualdi, Fiat, ecc. Sempre affascinante il carattristico procedimento per accenderli. Sentirli sbuffare e lavorare nei campi la terra con strumenti dell'epoca è sempre molto interessante. Ci si rende conto di quanto la meccanizzazione agricola abbia fatto enormi passi avanti. Complimenti agli organizzatori ed ai proprietari per mantenere vive le tradizioni e conservare al meglio autentici gioielli metallici di storia!
