I demonstrate using my MXL770 condenser microphone with the Audient iD4 Audio Interface and compare it with the Newer NW-100 48v phantom power supply.
The Audient iD4 sounds much better in my opinion, but it is also 5 to 6 times more expensive.
The Audient iD4 is powered via the USB 2.0 cable, and the Newer NW-100 is powered via a 18v AC adapter.
Both are PC and Mac compatible.
