Testing a 2.4G Wireless Lapel Microphone
This microphone distance says 30m on the packaging. That may be possible if there is no interference. In this video, I was unable to get the signal to go through thick double glazed glass doors. I didn't know that until after I recorded the video. But maybe, that is normal of most 2.4g wireless receivers and transmitters. Also, not long after I made this video, the thin wire connecting the lapel mic broke. This product is not very robust at all. The only reliable part of this mic was the auto connectivity between the transmitter and receiver. The batteries also seemed reliable, but I didn't use it for very long. The sound quality is not good enough for me, but I do show how you can use OBS filters to improve that quite a lot. Also, the latency is quite noticeable.
