(Audio) Podcast Ep. 2 - Game Talk (Raw Data, Onward, Rec Room, Starseed, The Lab)

Today's episode covers a few of the games we have been playing recently. We dive into some of the cool features in these titles and give our overall recommendations. Here is the list of titles and some quick notes we discussed:
1. Raw Data
- First game to reach $1 million in sales on the HTC Vive platform.
- Intuitive controls, smooth mechanics, and futuristic gameplay.
2. Onward
- One of the newest tactical, multiplayer first-person shooter.
- The game does not utilize teleportation for movement which is rare for games right now.
3. Rec Room
- This game utilizes online multiplayer to the extreme. Great way to connect with other Vive owners as well.
- Gameplay isn't overly complicated or complex but that is outweighed by the ability to play many of the mini games with others.
4. The Gallery Episode 1: Call of the Starseed
This game currently comes packaged with the HTC Vive.
- Longer format game type which allows you to really dive into the story.
- Utilizes Vive features to the best of their capabilities.
5. The Lab
- Another free title offered by Valve which introduces people to the features of virtual reality very well.
- The Longbow mini game is probably one of the best archery games around.
Bonus:
TheBlu - Not really a game, but more so a great VR introductory experience.
TiltBrush - A google product, this is highly recommended for any and all graphic artists.
