Auto Mode only: vs. Belius【Unknown Mode / No Items】Vesperia: Definitive Edition #12
A meeting gets ruined by the Hunting Blades. There would be no Belius to heal if Belius was never injured. Of course, the death of a guild leader isn't enough to wake up a rampaging pack of nut gurgling street walkers.

The team for this battle was picked purely due to their connection to either Belius or the guilds. I want to avoid deaths as much as possible, but I also want to have Judith in more battles. This ain't a no death run, so more Judith in future? Not a "Judith-size" amount of Judith though. Maybe an "Estelle-size" amount of Judith, but that's probably not a lot of Judith. Either way, more Judith likely means more deaths. They'll be fine, maybe, I think, I guess, I don't know.
This battle is a short one. There's no mini-boss or giganto monster here. It's just Belius and the battle with the Hunting Blades before her. This won't be the only video that focuses on a single boss, but it's one of the few.
As for the Hunting Blades, they didn't learn their listen. They collectively share one brain cell and seek out monsters on the same level that Zagi seeks out Yuri. One thing I can say is that they are smart enough to bring two of those nimble dagger enemies with them. The witch is only a problem if no one is pursuing her. Luckily, Namco Bandai's Tales of Vesperia and Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and many other platforms has a pretty good strategy system that allows for a decent amount of customization. These include but are not limited to which foes to target and whether or not to back off when health is low for each individual character. This allows Judith to focus on the witch and Karol to focus on the nearest target.
This great strategy system will surely return in future installments with the same level of quality or improvements. I mean, imagine if Judith was hard-coded and forced to focus only on flying enemies. Imagine if Karol could only target strong enemies. Boy, that would suck.
