Deaths galore, but I'm not surprised. It was inevitable. Schwaan is a pretty tough nut to crack and Brucis is, well, Brucis. This is the point where Estelle is no longer in the party and we pretty much lost the one character who can revive characters. Well, except for Patty, but guess who wasn't around in the original Vesperia release?

There's no point comparing Schwaan's KO score to Brucis'. Brucis can be fought before Estelle and Raven leave the party. Around this point, Flynn is not available until Estelle and Raven are gone. There's a clear level gap between Schwaan and Brucis. The party's level is slightly below Brucis, but not by much. Basically, this is just a normal day for Brucis.

No Johns or whatever, I know, but if he wasn't constantly running away, then the party would be able to take him down. A scrub? Me? The hell are you talking about? He's playing like a coward. You're not suppose to play the game that way. Come on, man! Does Brucis wanna play the fucking game? Seriously, just kill them! Here, I'm just gonna put it on "Watch TV" and he can just keep killing the party cause he's such a good giganto monster that this is how he earns his wins. So, no, no, come on, keep killing them.

By the way, there are two timestamps for Brucis because the party doesn't actually fight him until some time has passed. The reason is because I wanted Flynn to hold off Brucis while Estelle gives the party a slight edge before they battle. I could have used more mages or brought Karol along, but I wanted a battle featuring this gang together. Yuri, Flynn, and Repede working as a team on the frontlines with support from Estelle. The perfect set of knights for her highness. Yes. Gleefully beating her up during a play, telling her to kiss his ass, and being outright terrible at getting her to listen. The perfect knights.

Also, no one with good intentions would talk and act like Alexei does. You'd have to have a heart filled with darkness within darkness to believe acting that way will get you into anyone's good graces.
