Avatars of War- let's print some skeletons!
55I'd totally forgotten that Avatars of War was setting up a Patreon account.
Dang! I'm glad I remembered! You get piles of models for a whopping FOUR DOLLARS. I can certainly get behind the pricing!
What I found interesting was that rather than eight or nine unique figures, they went the route of having a half dozen base bodies, and then building variations off of those. Some of the figure have some significant differences between them too, and outside of a necromancer, this set is going to give you more than enough variety at least for a decent sized undead warband (or for the very industrious an entire army if you don't mind repeated sculpts).
Bonus points for including a variety of wights and champions, including an homage to everyone's favorite axe- wielding lord of undeath hero with a mohawked helmet.
Also of note (and my urgency in posting this) is that they're offering up an stl file of one of my favorite sculpts they've done, that of the barbarian warlord. It's a sweet looking model, and if you've got a printer at this price it's significantly cheaper than ordering the resin version like I have (which is an awesome figure, by the way. The casting was amazing- check out the video I did on him).
