63I managed to get the model I most wanted from Cursed City. He's also the only one I believe that was explicitly cast on his own separate sprue.
It obviously wasn't in the cards to actually get the whole game. It's disappointing but I'm still unsure if I'd actually get around to playing it, let alone painting it.
One guy though? Yeah, I can handle that. Already started painting him too.
He gives me very Cossack vibes. I dig it. It's nice to see GW look towards something other than the usual tired Western European trappings now and then.
Radukar was pretty simple to put together. Relatively few parts, and everything slots together with easy to spot connectors. His sword hand was a little troublesome getting to line up initially, but once it's in it's not going anywhere.
While he may not be an ogre like we initially had heard, he's definitely ogre- sized. Or at least old ogre kingdoms bull sized. Those pelts he's wearing definitely add to the mass of the model.
I think he'd make a nice compliment to the Crimson Court if I could find them, or at the very least make a great leader or second in command (possibly to a mage) in a whole ton of other tabletop games.
I know he'll be skirmishing things up in the near future!
